And envelope please: April's KOM Challenge (QOM) Women's winner is Jill McLaughlin, riding for the mtbr.com contributing 137,158 feet (just over 6%) to that club's month's best 2,279,112. Jill seems to do no off-road ride less than 25 miles with her average being 39 miles and 5715 feet - here looks like a typical ride in the park for her with an abundance of PRs and 1st overalls - we'll just have to get her full story here in the coming weeks. For her efforts Jill receives a Strava Velo 12 month membership, a Lyzne Carbon Pumps and a Capo Bacio Kit (all three with a combined $180 value, courtesy of Strava.com, Studio Velo Cycling, Leyzne and Capo). The men's top dog was once again Brian Toone, but our runner-up Leon Matz, of Puyallup, WA, gets the goods, a Strava Velo 12 month membership, a Lyzne Carbon Pumps and a Capo Bacio Kit. Leon has a great cycling goal, and not an easy one...to ride to the top of the 100 most difficult climbs in the USA. We'll have to quiz him on how many of those he's bagged.
Our 2nd place prize winners are Gary Williams, riding in Granda, Spain,,and Kerry Wilson, from San Francisco, who each get a Lezyne Pressure Drive Pump, a Strava Velo 12 month membership and 3 Pair High End Capo Socks. Those on the 3rd step of the prize podium are Paul McKenzie, of Berkeley, CA, and Kimberly Ford, of Marin County, CA each receiving a 6-month Strava Velo membership and a Capo T-Shirt.
